I decided a few months ago that the gym membership I was spending 90$ a month on wasn't really doing much for me. I hate the gym. I never know what to do, and I feel like I’m doing everything wrong. When I do go, I generally run on the treadmill and leave. I work a desk job and I spend 12-14 hours sitting in a terrible position. When I talked to Joe, I mentioned I wanted someone who could help me with back pain and posture and tone me up. He paired me with Suzanne Dow and she completely changed how I think about working out. She focuses on my posture and form first. She won't even let me start until my core is engaged and my shoulders are back. Then she targets areas of my body that are getting the most abuse from my work. I've been working with Suzanne once a week since about April. I also started meeting with Erika their personal yoga instructor when Suzanne recommended that could benefit me. I've gained some nice lean muscle, I stand a bit taller, leaned up through the face and waist area and I just generally look and feel way healthier than when I started. I also for the first time didn't care much about the scale. For the first time it wasn't about just obsessively losing weight, but about feeling good about myself. I can't recommend them enough. Everyone I've worked with really truly care about what they do.
